Job summary
Melbourne Generators is seeking an experienced Technical Lead Electrician to lead our generator and power systems team in Melbourne. You will bring hands-on diesel generator expertise, fault-finding mastery and strong client engagement to deliver complex projects.
As a Technical Lead, you’ll own commissioning, synchronising, controller configuration and preventative maintenance programs, while mentoring junior staff and shaping technical procedures. This role offers genuine ownership and growth.
Qualifications
- Must be a qualified A-Grade Electrician with a current Victorian electrical licence.
- Proven hands-on generator experience with diesel systems and power generation.
- Experience with generator synchronising, load sharing and controller configuration.
Responsibilities
- Fault finding and diagnostics on generator systems.
- Generator connections, testing and commissioning.
- Synchronising generators and configuring load-sharing.
- Programming and fault finding generator controllers (ComAp preferred).
- Work with AP/remote monitoring and AMF/ATS setups.
- Lead technical support and mentor team members.
