Job description

We’re seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead our Network Management team in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and performance of critical network infrastructure. You’ll oversee WAN, LAN, and data centre environments, manage ITIL‑aligned service operations, and guide a skilled team through incident resolution, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for delivering reliable, secure network services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Network Management Team, ensuring effective network operations, monitoring, and service continuity across multiple sites.
  • Oversee and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and WAN/LAN environments.
  • Handle escalated incidents and major outages, ensuring prompt resolution, communication, and accurate documentation.
  • Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices, while driving continuous service improvement and compliance.
  • Support team development, including mentoring, performance management, recruitment, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors, while generating reports and acting as a key escalation point for high‑priority issues.
Experience Required
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, customer service, and project management within a technical operations environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • In‑depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, with a strong background in customer‑focused IT support.
  • Solid hands‑on experience in managing complex network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and WAN/LAN across multiple sites and data centres.
  • Practical experience managing ITIL‑aligned service operations, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Proven HR and people management skills, including team development, conflict resolution, delegation, and performance oversight.
  • Strong track record in building and maintaining a positive, proactive team culture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both written and verbal.
