Job summary

Ignite is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support critical infrastructure and telecommunications programs within a government environment. This 12-month contract in Sydney, NSW offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in the office.

You will elicit and document requirements, manage traceability, collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams, and assist with procurement and integration of technology solutions. Government experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in technology, telecoms or critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of network technologies, backend systems, and integrations.
• Experience supporting large-scale telecommunications and mission-critical environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive in complex technical environments.
• Government experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
• Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, suppliers, and delivery teams.
• Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
• Analyse network, system, and business processes to identify risks and improvements.
• Assist with procurement and integration of technology solutions.
