Qualifications

• Excellent communication and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Consulting experience and payments domain knowledge are a bonus.

Technical Business Analyst // Financial Services

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a financial services organisation in Sydney. This is a varied role covering enterprise applications, IT infrastructure and technology consolidation.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to understand the current technology environment, document how applications are used and support decisions around upgrades, replacements and decommissioning. You’ll also move across different pieces of work, so a broad technical background and clear communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Review applications and infrastructure, capturing their purpose, dependencies, issues and technical requirements.

Run stakeholder workshops and translate findings into clear documentation.

Support application and infrastructure consolidation, migration and change activities.

Work with business teams, technology specialists and external vendors.

Assess the impact of proposed changes on systems, users and operations.

Requirements

Strong experience as a Technical or IT Business Analyst within financial services (A MUST)

A broad understanding of enterprise applications and IT infrastructure.

Practical project experience involving Cisco and/or VMware environments.

Experience with technology consolidation, application rationalisation, migrations or decommissioning.

Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders.

The ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Consulting experience will be highly regarded. Payments experience is a bonus.
