Technical Business Analyst

You’ll be a part of our IT team based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

This role involves gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements, designing user‑centric solutions, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The position plays a key role in translating complex business challenges into technology solutions.

This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work, however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.

About you
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst or a similar role.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field, and an accredited qualification in business analysis.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma is desirable.
  • Proven experience in;
  • Facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
  • Defining epics and user stories.
  • Writing and executing test cases, and managing the end‑to‑end testing process.
  • Working in an Agile environment to deliver software development projects.
  • Strong ability to engage and manage both technical and business stakeholders, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a professional services environment is preferable.
