A major Australian railway operator is looking for a Technical Assurance Manager to oversee project delivery and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will lead assessments of project assurance artifacts and engage with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of safe assets. The Wave is a major transport initiative set to transform connectivity from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. Delivering new heavy rail from Beerwah to Birtinya and an express metro‑style service through Maroochydore to the Sunshine Coast Airport, this project will reduce travel times, ease congestion, and improve regional connections, leaving a lasting legacy for the 2032 Olympic Games and beyond. Working within Queensland Rail’s Major Project, Engineering, and Rail Safety business group, specifically on the new WAVE project. The Technical Assurance Manager role will see you joining the Systems and Integration team. You will have a strong background in technical systems and safety assurance delivery, demonstrable experience in the delivery of complex multi‑discipline projects, with the ability to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders.
