Whizdom is seeking a Microservices and AI Technical Architect to lead the design and governance of cloud-native, microservices-based platforms. The role focuses on embedding AI-enabled engineering practices across the software delivery lifecycle and guiding decision-making for secure, scalable service delivery.
Responsibilities include enabling AI-enabled SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and platform engineering standards, while ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and transformations.

The program is establishing the Department's first enterprise Microservices and Event-driven Architecture foundations and is embedding AI enabled engineering practices across the software delivery lifecycle. The role will provide technical leadership, influence system builds and engineering decisions, guide the adoption of AI across the service deliver lifecycle and ensure capability transfer occurs throughout delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience designing, implementing and operating container platforms using technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, EKS or GKE, including platform automation, governance and workload management.
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current baseline Security Clearance.
