Wabtec Global Freight Services is hiring a locomotive technical advisor in Dampier, WA. You will support RTIO rail maintenance, troubleshoot EVO/FDL locomotives, and lead field modifications with a customer-centric approach.
Reporting to the Technical Team Manager, you will coordinate training, provide engineering support, and work with global teams to drive reliability and customer satisfaction.
Wabtec Global Freight Services provides offering to customer which include technology, people, and processes, designed to maximize reliability and availability of customers’ locomotives at optimal operating costs. These tailored solutions meet each customer’s operating needs for fleet strategy, and changing business trends, ensuring we help customers achieve their desired business outcomes. These offerings include tailored Maintenance Contracts, Overhauls, Asset Performance Management, Upgrades and modernisations.
Reporting to the Technical Team Manager, you will provide Wabtec Locomotive technical advice to Rio Tinto maintenance staff for all owned locomotives on the RTIO rail network.
The role is located onsite in Dampier (WA), either FIFO or Residential, working 7 days on, 7 days off.
Successful candidates will be required to complete background and criminal history check.
