Harvey Norman Lake Haven is seeking a highly motivated Salesperson to join our Technology & Entertainment team. You’ll sell leading computer, laptop, mobile phone and entertainment products, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.

This part-time role offers a guaranteed base wage plus commission with opportunities for career progression. You’ll need strong knowledge of computers and mobile devices, the ability to discuss features and benefits, and a proven track record.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or technology sales experience is highly regarded
• Strong knowledge and genuine interest in computers and mobile phones
• The ability to confidently discuss specifications, features, benefits and product differences
• A genuine passion for technology and keeping up with new products
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence asking for the sale and closing deals
• A proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets
• The ability to identify sales opportunities and maximize every customer interaction
• A strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond
• Flexibility to work across retail trading hours, including weekends, public holidays and late-night trades

Responsibilities

• You’ll be selling leading computer, laptop, mobile phone, technology and entertainment products, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• This isn’t simply about knowing the products — it’s about understanding why a customer needs them, asking the right questions and confidently recommending the solution that best suits them.
• You’ll be expected to manage your customers from the initial conversation through to the sale, while identifying opportunities to maximize both the customer’s experience and your sales results.
