The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Team Leader – Home Care to join our Murray Home Care team, based in Lavington. This role offers competitive remuneration, paying above award rates, along with the opportunity to lead and support Care Workers in delivering high‑quality home care services. You will be responsible for team coaching, recruitment support, retention initiatives, and ensuring strong supervision and service delivery.

The Role

Reporting to the Home Care Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing positive, supportive leadership and role modelling best practice.
  • Ensuring all work practices align with UPA policies, guidelines and our Code of Conduct.
  • Maintaining a trained, skilled and qualified workforce that meets client needs.
  • Facilitating meetings, education sessions and training as required.
  • Monitoring staff leave to ensure adequate service coverage.
  • Assisting with recruitment, selection, onboarding and buddying of new staff.
  • Supporting staff through mentoring and ongoing supervision.
  • Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment through safety checklists, audits and risk assessments.
About You
  • Minimum Certificate III in Community Services or a related qualification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Current, unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
  • Sound knowledge of Aged Care legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Strong planning, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
