Job summary

Sunshine Coast Regional Council is seeking a Team Leader within the Design and Placemaking Services to lead landscape architecture, urban design and placemaking across the Sunshine Coast. You will mentor a skilled team, guide high-quality public spaces, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver capital works and major projects in a UNESCO Biosphere region.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale landscape projects.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Landscape Architectural Services team.
• Plan, design, coordinate and deliver landscape architecture and placemaking projects.
• Provide specialist advice and innovative design solutions across programs.
• Oversee resource planning, quality assurance and project delivery for capital works.
