Overview

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) is a leading paediatric teaching hospital in Melbourne, with a vision of "A world where all kids thrive". About the Role

This is a full‑time, ongoing Team Coordinator position at the Sexual Assault Service (SASH) within RCH, based in Parkville with required travel to community sites in metropolitan western Melbourne. The role operates 80 hours per fortnight and is located in SASH, a Victorian government funded specialist sexual assault service.

Responsibilities
  • Operational leadership for a multi‑disciplinary team delivering therapeutic services for children and young people who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour and their non‑offending family members.
  • Supervising clinical staff, ensuring program standards are followed and meeting service targets in accordance with funding agreements.
  • Clinical governance of the Harmful Sexual Behaviour program, ensuring quality and safe service provision for children and their families.
  • Operational management of day‑to‑day service activities, ensuring access to support and care pathways for children who have experienced and/or engaged in sexual harm.
  • Leading a high‑quality, client‑centred, evidence‑informed team and adhering to relevant policies, procedures and standards.
Skills and Experience
  • Recognised qualification in a relevant discipline with current registration with AHPRA and/or eligibility for membership with a professional body.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a clinical team that is high‑quality, client‑centred, evidence‑informed and complies with relevant policies, procedures and standards.
  • Experience working with initiative, autonomy and leading others in the pursuit of team goals.
  • Collaborative, interpersonal, relationship building and written communication skills to support integrated service delivery with children, young people and families, partner agencies and other stakeholders.
About SASH

SASH is a department of RCH and a Victorian government funded specialist sexual assault service. SASH provides therapeutic interventions, support and advocacy for children who have experienced sexual harm and/or engaged in harmful sexual behaviour and their non‑offending family members. Services are provided in Werribee and at the RCH in Parkville.
