Pelican Flat Public School in NSW seeks a Teaching Principal Level TP2 to lead and manage a small coastal school community, ensuring inclusive education and personalised learning. The successful candidate will drive strategic priorities under the Plan for Public Education, build partnerships, and lead school improvements while navigating RAM-based classifications and salary

Qualifications

• In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary.
• Capacity to lead the school community in driving a high expectations culture which supports staff and student wellbeing, proactive enrolment and attendance strategies, and comprehensive support for the complex needs of all students.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver the Plan for Public Education and its associated priorities to support and inspire excellence at Pelican Flat PS.
• Demonstrated ability to drive a relational school culture through high visibility, exceptional interpersonal skills, and meaningful partnerships with students, staff, and the broader community.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to articulate how the philosophy of a life-long learner shapes your own personal and educational vision, leadership practice and contribution to the Pelican Flat Public School team.
• High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education
• Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs
• High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community
• Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
• Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
• Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
