Job summary

Ave Maria College in Victoria is seeking an ongoing full-time English teacher for Years 7–12, commencing 27 January 2027. The successful applicant will be supported by the College’s leadership structures and an active Professional Learning program.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children, and hold current VIT registration. Applications close 9 November 2026.

• Secondary English teaching experience preferred.

Job description

The successful applicant will be expected to support and uphold the Strategic Direction of the College. They will be supported by the leadership structures within the College, as well as an effective Professional Learning program.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

The full terms and conditions are in accordance with the CEMEA (2022).

The successful applicant will be required to have current VIT registration.
