Job summary

Vida Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support teachers in the classroom, including one-to-one and small group work. The role involves preparing the classroom, managing behaviour, and helping students engage with learning.

Applicants should have a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least one year of TA experience, and be able to provide recent references. A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for a new one) is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 1 year of TA experience in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.
• Prepare the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
• Manage behaviour and engage students with their own learning.
• Work with students either one to one or in small groups out of the classroom.
• Commit to supporting both the teacher and the students to succeed.
