Job summary

Bendigo Kangan Institute in Essendon or Bendigo campuses is seeking a VET Teacher Training to deliver the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and assess learners in a learner-centered environment.

You will hold the TAE40122 and Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, with tertiary qualification in adult education preferred; availability to work until 9:00 pm four evenings weekly; occasional travel to other campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Holding the TAE qualification is mandatory, along with a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and the ability to assess and support learners to meet national training package requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess the Certificate IV Training and Assessment TAE40122 qualification.
• Develop engaging learning and assessment materials that support learner success.
• Ensure compliance with VET Quality Framework, training packages and assessment requirements.

Job description

Location: Essendon or Bendigo Campus, occasional travel to other campuses as required

Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent 1 FTE

Working Hours: Four afternoon/evening shifts per week (1:00 pm - 9:00 pm), with one daytime shift (9:00 am - 5:00 pm). Occasional daytime classes may also be required.

Remuneration: Starting from $90,879.00 plus superannuation

About The Role:

Based at our Essendon or Bendigo Campus, the VET Teacher Training role is responsible for delivering the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

You will play a key role in developing future VET practitioners by delivering high-quality, compliant training and assessment aligned to regulatory and industry standards. This role suits an experienced VET professional who is passionate about adult education and confident in delivering the TAE qualification in a learner-centered, engaging environment.

Holding the TAE qualification is mandatory, along with a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, and the ability to assess and support learners to meet national training package requirements.

Availability to work until 9:00 pm, four evenings per week, is an essential requirement of this role.

Qualifications

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (mandatory)
• Diploma of Vocational Education and Training(mandatory)
• Tertiary qualification in adult or vocational education (preferred)
• Relevant industry currency and the ability to maintain compliance with VET regulatory standards

Experience and knowledge

• Demonstrated experience delivering and assessing the Certificate IV Training and Assessment TAE40122 qualification (preferred)
• Strong understanding of the VET Quality Framework, training packages and assessment requirements
• Ability to develop engaging learning and assessment materials that support learner success
• Good knowledge of Standards for Registered Training Organisations
