Job summary

Bundaberg Special School, part of the Queensland Department of Education, is seeking dedicated teachers for P-12 classes where every student has an intellectual disability. Join a team that values care, learning, and strong partnerships with families and the community.

You will be supported by leadership including the Principal, Deputy Principals and HOD-C, with opportunities to develop teaching practice in a collaborative, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• You must hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• You must have full or provisional QCT registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa are required.

Responsibilities

• Teach P-12 students with intellectual disability in a supportive, inclusive classroom.
• Collaborate with the school leadership team to support student learning and wellbeing.
