Kelmscott Senior High School invites a passionate Science teacher to join our team from Term 1, 2027. This permanent full-time position offers opportunities to teach Senior and Lower school Science and ATAR courses within a collaborative, evidence-based environment.

The Role

Kelmscott SHS is in an exciting phase of growth, innovation, and positive change, and we are ideally seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic team.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase innovative, contemporary teaching practices, contribute to an evolving Science program, and help position our school as a centre of teaching and learning excellence.

• Have experience teaching both Senior and Lower school Science.
• Possess strong skills in teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) courses or display the capacity to do so in the future.
• Understand the developmental needs of students across all phases of the Western Australian Curriculum.
• Be skilled in differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners.
• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.

As a member or our team, you will ideally be a conscientious, flexible and innovative teacher who is committed to the development of the whole student. You should be reflective of your teaching practices and committed to the evidence-based decision making and differentiation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment will be desirable, as well as a willingness to engage in professional learning and liaise with colleagues, parents and external networks.
