Job description

Duaringa State School is seeking a motivated and adaptable teacher to join our small, supportive rural school community. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong classroom management, build positive relationships with students, and deliver engaging learning aligned to the Australian Curriculum. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute actively to school life, bringing a proactive and flexible approach to teaching across year levels. Experience in multi-age settings or rural schools is valued, along with the confidence to differentiate learning and embrace the rewards of rural living in a welcoming community. Duaringa is a small rural community located approximately 80km from the nearest major food store, so being organised and prepared for rural living is important. The community is welcoming and supportive of the school.

Strong relationship-building skills and a willingness to contribute to the broader school community are essential.
