This position requires a teaching load of Dance and PDHPE.

Specific Selection Criteria

• Approval to teach Dance and PDHPE. Demonstrated exceptional teaching practice across PDHPE and Dance, with the ability to inspire, challenge and extend students through evidence-informed, inclusive and highly engaging pedagogy.
• Proven expertise in assessment for learning, including authentic assessment, high-quality feedback and the purposeful use of student evidence to adapt teaching and accelerate student learning and outcomes.
• Demonstrated expertise and collaboration in Sport and Dance extracurricular opportunities, with a proven capacity to increase participation, develop performance and create meaningful pathways for students across a diverse range of abilities, interests and aspirations.
• Capacity to build positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students, families and the wider school community to strengthen student learning, wellbeing, participation and belonging.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
