Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $160,942.00. Base salary ranges from $92,882.00 to $141,997.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information

Gledswood Hills HighSchoolis the new highschoolsupporting the communities of Gregory Hills and Gledswood Hills. Theschoolopened on a temporary site at the commencement of Term 1, 2025 for Year 7 students only. The newschoolbuild is expected to be open in Term 1, 2027 with year 7, 8 and 9 students, and an additional year group will be added annually. The first HSC cohort will be 2030, and a supported learning unit will be at the school when the school moves to the permanent site.

Specific Selection Criteria

• Approval to teach Mathematics (Years 7-10) and Mathematics (Years 11-12)
• Capacity to develop innovative and relevant teaching resources and design comprehensive programs aligned with the Mathematics syllabus to meet the differentiated learning needs of a diverse range of students in a new and developing school
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with teachers across KLAs on innovative learning and assessment

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
