Job summary

The BUSY School is seeking a dedicated educator to teach Essential English and Social & Community Studies to Year 11 or 12 students at our Shailer Park Campus in Queensland. This permanent full-time role commences Term 1 2027 and offers a supportive environment within a growing national organisation.

You will work with disengaged learners, build positive relationships, and deliver engaging lessons within the secondary curriculum.

• Full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a Teacher in Queensland.

About The BUSY School

The BUSY School is part of The BUSY Group, a not-for-profit organisation presenting nearly 50 years as a community partner providing employment services, vocational education and training, apprenticeships, mentoring, Inclusive Employment Support, and allied health services.

We are an independent Special Assistance School with 10 campuses across Queensland and New Zealand, and new campuses opening in NSW and Tasmania in the New Year.

Providing an alternative program for Year 11 and 12 students who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education, our program has expanded to include The BUSY School Online (TBSO) offering flexible access to our program for all students across Queensland.

About this Opportunity

Based at our Shailer Park Campus, the focus of your role will be to teach Essential English/Social & Community Studies to Year 11 or 12 students.

This role is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1 2027
