Mount Lawley Senior High School in Western Australia is seeking Home Economics Teachers for permanent and fixed-term, full-time or part-time roles that may arise during the 2027 school year.

Founded in 1955, Mount Lawley Senior High School (SHS) is located 5 kilometres from the Perth CBD. It comprises three sub-schools; Years 7 to 12. It hosts a Gifted and Talented Languages program, a Specialist Visual and Performing Arts program, a Music program and the innovative Aboriginal Excellence Program. The school offers a breadth of curriculum choices and has a rich history of student success and achievement.

Suitable applicants should have a focus on high performance and high care and will ideally display professional knowledge, practical application and understanding of the Technologies (Home Economics) curriculum from Years 7 to 12. Suitable applicants will ideally embrace and commit to the school’s Ethos and Vision. They should be expert in engaging students and provide a learning environment that facilitates students at all levels achieving their full potential. Teachers at Mount Lawley SHS are expected to embrace the school’s Pedagogical Framework (attached).
