CPL INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD in Sydney is looking for a Taxation Accountant to join our team. You will manage tax compliance, prepare tax returns, and support clients with accounting and financial reporting.

The role requires knowledge of Australian taxation, BAS/IAS, and ability to communicate clearly with clients. You will work with senior accountants to deliver timely, accurate outcomes and identify planning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Commerce, Finance.
• Experience in taxation accounting, public practice, or a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation principles and compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns; BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Manage tax compliance and prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships.
• Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and other statutory reports.
• Provide tax planning and advisory to clients.
• Assist with financial statements and accounting adjustments.
• Maintain tax documentation and working papers.
