We are seeking experienced influential tax professionals with strong technical expertise to join our Tax Avoidance Taskforce. As a Tax Officer (EL 1), you will apply your practical experience and deep knowledge across complex structures, significant transactions, and high‑impact activities to identify and mitigate potential tax risks. These roles play a critical part in detecting and addressing tax avoidance to protect revenue, uphold the integrity of the tax system, and improve the tax performance of Australian and international businesses.

The Tax Avoidance Taskforce is part of the Compliance and Engagement Group and plays a key role in ensuring multinational enterprises, large public and private businesses, and associated individuals pay the right amount of tax in Australia.
