The role covers tax compliance and reporting, tax strategy and planning, transfer pricing, and the design and operation of the Group's tax risk and governance framework. The role partners closely with Group Finance, business unit finance teams, external advisors and revenue authorities to ensure the Group meets its statutory obligations, optimises its tax position within its risk appetite, and maintains a robust control environment appropriate for an ASX-listed entity.

Key responsibilities

Manage tax input into ASX continuous disclosure obligations and investor-facing materials as required.

Oversee UK-specific compliance obligations, including Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) certification, Corporate Interest Restriction, and Making Tax Digital requirements.

Manage relationships with, and respond to reviews, audits and information requests from, the ATO, Inland Revenue (NZ) and HMRC.

Develop and maintain the Group's overall tax strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, the Board-approved risk appetite and evolving regulatory settings across all three jurisdictions.

Advise the CFO and Executive team on the tax implications of acquisitions, divestments, financing and restructuring activity, including due diligence and post-completion integration.

Design, implement and maintain the Group's transfer pricing policy across intercompany transactions between the Australian, New Zealand and UK operations.

Own and maintain the Group's tax risk management and governance framework, consistent with the ATO's Tax Risk Management and Governance Review Guide and equivalent good-practice standards in NZ and the UK.

About you
