Nexia Edwards Marshall is seeking a Tax Consulting professional to join our Business Consulting Services division. Based in our CBD offices, the role blends traditional tax work with business services, offering hybrid work and exposure to diverse client projects.

You will work under a Tax Director, delivering tax advice, reports and strategies, and actively partnering with clients to help them realise their potential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of tax and advisory or taxation consulting experience in an Australian accounting practice or law firm.
• Ideally dual degree in Accounting and Law.
• Technical tax knowledge and tax planning experience essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide proactive and tailored strategic tax advice.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with a diverse client base.
• Research and analyse technical tax issues and prepare tax reports.
• Assist with tax consulting advice such as consolidations, CGT and SME restructuring.
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for various structures.
• Perform financial modelling, calculations and analysis.
• Support ATO reviews, governance matters and audits, and liaise with the ATO for rulings.
• Provide guidance on GST, CGT, international tax, and other tax law aspects.
