Our global Financial Services client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Accountant to join their dynamic Finance Department. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys working across tax compliance, reporting, advisory, and data integrity, while collaborating with internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare and lodge Corporate income tax and GST, including calculation and supporting documentation.
Demonstrated ability to independently prepare and lodge corporate tax returns without supervision.
Process tax payments including withholding tax (WHT) and PAYG. Prepare workpapers and reporting for TFN/ABN and FATCA/CRS.
Support FBT obligations, tax provisions, and deferred tax balances.
Prepare tax workpapers, data, and schedules for Head Office / Regional Office.
Maintain and update tax documentation, including transfer pricing, policies, and procedures.
Reconcile and analyse tax-relevant financial data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Support ATO, external auditor, consultant, and internal stakeholder inquiries.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill. High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies
Minimum 3-6 years of relevant tax experience.
