Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty in Burnie, Tasmania, is recruiting Site Engineer or Project Engineer to support major energy infrastructure construction. You will work on civil and structural packages, reporting to senior engineering leadership on site.

The role requires a Civil or Structural Engineering bachelor degree, eligibility for Engineers Australia membership, and 2+ years (Site) or 5+ years (Project) experience, plus a current Australian driver licence and a Construction White

• Eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
• White Card and full driver licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan site work and coordinate subcontractors and construction packages.
• Maintain inspection plans, technical queries, non-conformance records and completed work lots.
• Interpret permanent and temporary works designs and resolve field issues.
• Monitor programmes, methods, progress and costs.
• Support procurement, claims, variations and valuations.
• Review risk assessments and safe work methods and uphold environmental controls.

The Opportunity

Join a major energy infrastructure construction team in Tasmania. Site Engineer and Project Engineer opportunities cover civil and structural packages, reporting to senior engineering leadership. Burnie is the employer-confirmed advertising location.

Your Responsibilities

RequirementsSkills, Education And Requirements

• A Civil or Structural Engineering bachelor degree, or a relevant qualification, and eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
• At least two years of relevant major construction experience for Site Engineer opportunities; at least five years for Project Engineer opportunities.
• Understanding of Australian Standards, digital QA/QC and site delivery systems.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, engineering interfaces and project controls.
• Planning, communication, problem-solving and commercial awareness.
• A current Australian driver licence and Construction White Card.
