Job summary

Oran Park Anglican College, a vibrant learning community in Southwest Sydney, seeks two TAS teachers to deliver Stage 4–6 syllabuses in Food Technology, Design and Technology, or Enterprise Computing. You will plan, deliver and assess engaging learning programs, support student wellbeing, and contribute to the College’s values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications to teach Stage 4–6 syllabuses and NESA teacher accreditation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of syllabus requirements and the ability to design engaging, contemporary teaching and learning programs with varied pedagogical approaches.
• Strong understanding of assessment practices (for, as and of learning) and using data to inform teaching.
• Ability to effectively integrate technology to enhance teaching, learning and student engagement.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and holistic development.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to collaborate with a professional team.
• Willingness to contribute to co-curricular life and demonstrate a growth-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with Growth Mindset, Habits of Mind, Visible Thinking and Learning Power approaches; restorative practices experience is a plus.
• Desirable: ability to teach Stage 6 Food Technology or Design and Technology or Enterprise Computing.
