Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher
Permanent Full‑Time Position Commencing January 2026

We are seeking a passionate and innovative TAS Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: Design & Technology Timber and / or Construction.

You will deliver engaging and effective lessons, support students in their learning journey and contribute to their academic success and pastoral care. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in teaching are essential.

Required Experience & Skills
  • Ability to teach TAS Stages 4‑6
  • Planning and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies
  • Providing a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students
  • Assessing, providing feedback and reporting on student learning
  • Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages (preferred)
  • Working collaboratively in an English Faculty
  • Ability to implement new syllabi
  • Willingness to teach in an additional Key Learning Area (KLA) is desirable
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning
