Job summary

Aurec Human Capital Group is seeking a candidate to bridge operational targeting with modern ICT delivery for a mission-critical Australian Defence capability in Canberra. This rare opportunity targets transitioned ADF professionals looking to shape the mission beyond uniformed service.

You will validate designs against mission needs, translate targeting requirements into technical criteria for delivery teams, and work credibly across operators and engineering groups.

Qualifications

• Operational targeting background, ideally ex-ADF Joint Targeting Officer or operator.
• Ability to work credibly across operators and technical/engineering teams.
• Comfort with solution and architecture concepts (formal ICT qualifications not essential).

Job description

The role

• Targeting SME - Act as the bridge between ADF operational targeting and the ICT build - validating solution designs against mission need and translating targeting requirements into technical criteria the delivery team can build to.

What you\'ll bring

• An operational targeting background - ideally an ex-ADF Joint Targeting Officer or operator (e.g. Joint Targeting Cycle, Battle Damage Assessment, Collateral Damage Estimation)
• The ability to work credibly across operators and technical / engineering teams
• Comfort with solution and architecture concepts (formal ICT qualifications not essential)

Highly desirable

• Solution architecture or ICT delivery exposure
• A current NV2 Australian Government security clearance

Eligibility

• Australian citizenship is required (a prerequisite for an Australian Government security clearance).
