Target Australia Pty. Ltd. in the ACT region is seeking a Store Manager to drive store performance, lead operations, and develop high-performing teams.

What will you do?

Our Store Manager’s play a critical role in driving store performance and team success by leading operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and developing high-performing teams. As a key leader, you are responsible for maintaining compliance, strategically managing financial outcomes, and creating a positive work culture that aligns with Target’s strategic goals. You lead by example, balancing day-to-day priorities with long-term growth and development.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in leading high volume retail stores, developing and coaching large teams
• Have strong change management skills, with a focus on team-building and effective communication to foster a positive work culture
• Strong commercial acumen; including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and hitting financial targets and KPI’s
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels, manage expectations and collaborate as a team player
• Promotes a safe workplace through leadership and hazard reporting
• Excellent planning and prioritisation skills, whilst maintaining productivity and efficiency
• Maintain operational excellence in inventory, scheduling, compliance, store process and safety
