Job summary

Blu Australia in Cairns, QLD is seeking an experienced Tanker Truck Driver to join a busy operation with Monday to Friday work, early starts, and stable full-time hours.

You will perform multi-drop LPG deliveries, operate tanker vehicles safely, and handle loading, paperwork, and daily safety checks while upholding WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Current HR Truck Licence required.
• Experience driving tankers and LPG, gas or fuel deliveries preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and WHS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop LPG deliveries across Cairns and surrounding regions.
• Operate tanker vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver LPG to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Load/unload gas cylinders and tanker deliveries.
• Complete depot duties, stock movement and housekeeping.
• Conduct vehicle pre-starts and safety inspections.
• Manage delivery schedules and customer paperwork.
• Maintain compliance with dangerous goods and transport regulations.

We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Tanker Truck Driver to join a busy and growing operation based in Cairns, QLD. This is an ongoing opportunity offering stable Monday to Friday work, excellent hourly rates, and early morning starts.

• Ongoing full-time opportunity

• 8+ hour shifts
• Early starts between 4:00am – 6:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-drop LPG deliveries across Cairns and surrounding regional areas
• Operating tanker vehicles safely and efficiently
• Delivering LPG to residential, commercial, and industrial customers
• Loading/unloading gas cylinders and tanker deliveries
• Completing yard and depot duties including stock movement and housekeeping
• Conducting vehicle pre-starts and safety inspections
• Managing delivery schedules and customer paperwork accurately
• Maintaining compliance with dangerous goods and transport regulations

Requirements:

• Current HR Truck Licence – essential
• Previous tanker driving experience highly regarded
• Experience within LPG, fuel, gas, logistics, transport, or dangerous goods industries preferred
• DG Licence and/or SLP Gas Licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to complete manual handling and physical duties
• Strong focus on safety and WHS procedures
• Reliable with excellent communication and customer service skills
