Job summary

Westhaven is launching a new disability support service in Tamworth and is hiring dedicated Support Workers. Join a mission-driven team focused on independence, dignity and person‑centred care.

Roles include casual and permanent part‑time shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights, with opportunities to progress to Team Leader. Earn $36.22–$39.53 per hour plus shift loadings, 12% super, salary packaging up to $15,900 tax‑free, meal/entertainment card and Fitness Passport.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive.
• Valid First Aid & CPR.
• A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Workers Check (NDISWC).
• Willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
• Experience in Disability or Community Services is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities to foster independence and meaningful connections.
• Deliver client‑centric, high‑quality programs that promote inclusion.
• Assist with daily living activities and community participation as part of brand‑new service launch.

The Opportunity

We have secured a local property and are currently onboarding our first clients. We are looking for a reliable, compassionate team to hit the ground running.
