Geosurv, a Sydney-based surveying, geospatial and utilities business, is looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition Officer to own recruitment across the Utilities Network. You will heavily source and headhunt passive candidates and build strong talent pipelines to support growth across NSW projects.
You will manage end-to-end recruitment, screen candidates, coordinate interviews and help with offer and onboarding, reporting to operational leaders and shaping the next phase of Geosurv’s growth
Join one of Australia’s fastest-growing and reputable surveying, geospatial and utilities businesses and help build the team behind our next stage of growth.
Geosurv is a Sydney-based business delivering Surveying, Geospatial and Utilities services across major infrastructure, construction and development projects throughout NSW. We are working on some of the largest construction and infrastructure projects across the state.
With a team of around 100 people and continued growth across both our Geospatial and Utilities Networks, we are investing in the people and capability needed to support the next stage of the business.
Our Utilities Network is a major focus of that growth, delivering services across utility locating and mapping, utility surveying, CCTV, non-destructive digging, civil works and asset investigation and maintenance.
Geosurv is looking for a proactive and driven Talent Acquisition Officer to take ownership of recruitment across our growing Utilities Network.
This is a highly proactive recruitment role with a strong focus on direct sourcing and headhunting. While job advertising will form part of the recruitment mix, we are looking for someone with demonstrated experience identifying and engaging passive candidates, not someone who relies primarily on SEEK applications to fill vacancies.
You will spend a significant part of your time actively searching the market, approaching candidates directly, building relationships and developing talent pipelines across the Utilities industry.
You will have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of your recruitment portfolio while learning from a highly experienced TA Specialist and continuing to develop your knowledge of the Utilities and infrastructure industry.
You will also get exposure to business planning, business development, resource strategy and P&C.
You will ideally have around 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition and enjoy the proactive side of recruitment and relationship building.
Demonstrated experience in direct sourcing and headhunting is essential. You will be confident identifying and approaching passive candidates, picking up the phone and building relationships with people who may not currently be actively looking for their next opportunity.
Experience across utilities, civil construction, infrastructure, engineering, trades or blue-collar recruitment is a requirement.
We welcome candidates with recruitment experience gained either in-house or through a recruitment agency.
Geosurv is a growing Australian business with big ambitions, delivering Surveying, Geospatial and Utilities services across major infrastructure, construction and development projects throughout NSW.
Our Utilities Network is entering an exciting stage of growth, expanding across utility locating and mapping, CCTV, civil works, non-destructive digging and asset maintenance.
This is an opportunity to join us at an exciting time and play a genuine part in that growth.
You will have ownership of your recruitment portfolio, work directly with operational leaders and see the impact of the people you bring into the business.
You will also work alongside an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist, giving you the opportunity to continue developing your recruitment capability while building a strong network across the Utilities industry.
If you are ready to take the next step in your recruitment career and want to be part of a business that is rapidly growing, evolving and investing in its people, we would love to hear from you.
