Job summary

MOE RSL SUB BRANCH INC. is seeking a TAB & Bar Attendant on a casual basis for its Sports Bar in Moe, VIC. You will assist with bar operations, TAB services, and delivering friendly customer service in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Based in Moe, you will work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays. RSA certification is required or you must be willing to obtain one; join a team focused on service excellence and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bar or hospitality customer service.
• Knowledge of TAB betting systems and operations.
• Excellent numeracy and accuracy with cash handling.
• Willingness to obtain RSA certificate if not already held.
• Reliable, punctual and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and accuracy.
• Process TAB betting transactions efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
• Take orders and handle payments via POS systems.
• Maintain clean and organized bar area and glassware.
• Engage with customers professionally and uphold responsible service of alcohol.

TAB & Bar attendant (Sports Bar position)

MOE RSL SUB BRANCH INC. is seeking a TAB & Bar Attendant to join our Sports Bar team on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment where you'll be at the heart of our venue operations. Based in Moe, VIC 3825, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service whilst working bar operations and TAB services.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers with accuracy and speed
• Processing TAB betting transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
• Taking customer orders and processing payments using point-of-sale systems
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, equipment and work surfaces
• Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner whilst maintaining awareness of responsible service of alcohol obligations
• Adhering to all health, safety and security protocols within the venue
• Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a bar attendant or in a hospitality customer service role
• Knowledge of and experience with TAB betting systems and operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customersExcellent numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and processing transactions
• Familiarity with responsible service of alcohol principles and commitment to upholding these standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evening, weekend and public holiday shifts as required for casual employment
• A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable and punctual with a positive, team-oriented attitude
