Job description

Our client, a leading logistics organisation, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to maintain and support core IT infrastructure and networks across a multi‑site environment, with a focus on system stability, security, and operational excellence.

  • Administer core IT platforms across a multi‑site operational environment
  • Permanent, full‑time opportunity based in Western Sydney
  • Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, networking, and endpoint platforms
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure & AWS
  • Manage identity, access, and endpoint platforms (AD, Entra ID, MDM)
  • Maintain and support network infrastructure (switching, routing, Wi‑Fi)
  • Ensure system reliability, patching, backups, and monitoring
  • Manage IT security controls, policies, and cyber‑awareness practices
  • Oversee software licensing, asset lifecycle, and vendor relationships
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
  • Participate in on‑call / after‑hours support for critical systems
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Support
  • Strong experience with Windows Server & Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365, Azure (IaaS / Entra ID), and AWS
  • Endpoint and device management platforms
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Exposure to scripting or development technologies (C#, .NET, Node.js advantageous)
  • Experience supporting multi‑site or operational environments
  • Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills
Requirements
  • Degree in IT or equivalent industry experience
  • Australian Citizenship or full working rights
  • Experience in logistics, transport, or industrial environments is advantageous
