Adactin Group, a 100% Australian-owned IT consulting firm based in Canberra, seeks an experienced ICT Solutions Integration and Systems Engineering Specialist. The role focuses on developing system requirements, architectures, interfaces and rigorous documentation for complex ICT solutions in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

• Strong understanding of systems architecture, interface design and integration frameworks.

• Experience applying structured systems engineering, testing and evaluation methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with verification processes.
• Perform systems engineering activities including requirements refinement and design trade-offs.
• Develop system architectures, interface specifications and engineering artefacts to support integration.
• Prepare technical procurement documentation (SORs and SOWs).
• Produce design documentation (FPS, SSDDs, High-Level/ Detailed Designs).
• Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments and product evaluations.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful integration of complex ICT solutions.
• Support verification, validation and interoperability assessments.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies for integration challenges.

We are seeking an experienced ICT Solutions Integration and Systems Engineering Specialist with strong systems engineering capabilities, knowledge of integration frameworks and interface design, and experience developing technical architectures and engineering documentation for complex ICT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system and subsystem requirements, ensuring traceability, verifiability and alignment with established verification and validation processes.
• Perform systems engineering activities, including requirements refinement, solution development and technical design trade-off analysis.
• Develop system architectures, interface specifications, design descriptions and engineering artefacts to support solution integration.
• Prepare technical procurement documentation, including Statements of Requirements (SOR) and Statements of Work (SOW).
• Produce systems engineering and architecture documentation, including Functional Performance Specifications (FPS), System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs), High-Level Designs, Detailed Designs and Conceptual Architectures.
• Conduct technical reviews, architecture assessments and product evaluations to support procurement, system integration and solution delivery.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful integration of complex ICT solutions.
• Support system verification, validation, interoperability assessments and integration testing activities.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and integration challenges, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, requirements development, solution integration, verification and validation.
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, interface design and integration frameworks.
• Experience developing and maintaining technical specifications, architecture models and engineering documentation.
• Experience applying structured systems engineering, testing and evaluation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical reviews, design assessments and engineering evaluations.
• Experience preparing technical documentation to support procurement, solution design and delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Ability to analyse complex technical requirements and translate them into practical, integrated solutions.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience supporting complex capability definition, solution design and approval activities.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS, DOORS Next Generation (DNG) or CATIA.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of system interoperability standards and architecture frameworks.
• Experience with complex operational systems, integrated platforms or mission-critical ICT environments.
• Knowledge of structured procurement and technical evaluation processes.
