Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking a finance systems professional to stabilise our D365 Finance & Operations after go-live. You will work with Finance, Digital and Transformation teams to support users, strengthen controls, and embed new processes across the finance operation.

The role may be permanent or fixed-term, with the option for candidates located anywhere in New South Wales and occasional travel to Tomago Head Office.

Qualifications

• D365 F&O experience essential.
• Qualifications or equivalent in Finance, IT, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O or similar ERP in a finance environment.

Responsibilities

Job description

Ampcontrol has just implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and we need an experienced finance systems professional who can step in quickly to support our post-go-live period. This is a critical role focused on stabilising the system, resolving user issues, embedding new finance processes and ensuring our newly implemented F&O environment runs effectively across the business.

You will work closely with Finance, Digital and Transformation teams to provide urgent hands-on support during this important phase, helping users navigate the new system while strengthening controls, governance, reporting and day-to-day finance operations.

We're open to candidates located anywhere across New South Wales, with occasional travel to our Tomago Head Office required.

This opportunity is available on either a permanent or fixed-term contract basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Business Performance Lead, your immediate focus will be providing post-go-live support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You will troubleshoot issues, support finance users, improve system stability and help ensure the successful adoption of F&O across Ampcontrol’s finance environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide hands-on post-go-live support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, resolving user issues and improving system stability
• Partner with Finance, Digital and technical teams to support system improvements, testing, integrations and releases
• Maintain finance system controls, workflows, governance, documentation and key configurations
• Support financial data integrity, reporting, analysis and continuous improvement across finance operations

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Strong D365 Finance and Operations experience is essential
• Qualifications or equivalent experience in Finance, IT, Data Analytics or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar ERP systems in a finance environment
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to add value quickly post-implementation
• Sound understanding of financial processes, controls, reporting, data structures and stakeholder engagement

Experience with SQL, Power BI, system integrations and change management projects will be highly regarded.
