Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst/Trade Spend Analyst in Sydney. The role supports trade spend processing and reconciliations, reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, and offers exposure to a dynamic FMCG finance environment.

You will collaborate with Sales to manage accruals, validate claims, and contribute to process improvements while developing your career in finance within a global drinks company.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade spend, claims processing, rebates, or commercial finance support.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience preparing journals, accruals, or month-end reporting.
• Attention to detail and ability to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Validate and process trade spend claims and reconcile with sales model.
• Investigate discrepancies and liaise with Sales for review and approval.
• Prepare claims summary reports and provide commentary on unprocessed/historical claims.
• Provide allowances and discounts analysis to support Sales and Business Analytics.
• Maintain product mapping, scan data and the sales model.
• Assist with pricing analyses and ad hoc reporting during pricing controller’s leave.
