Bell Potter Securities Limited in Sydney seeks an experienced Financial Planner to join Bell Potter Private Wealth. You will deliver high-quality, non-investment financial advice to stockbrokers, private wealth advisers and clients, acting as a technical specialist and product champion.

Based in the Sydney office and supported by a Melbourne paraplanning team, you will work autonomously, build lasting client relationships, ensure compliance, and take ownership of a newly established role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Financial Planner within a professional advice firm.
• Relevant business or commerce tertiary degree.
• Strong technical and strategic advice capability.
• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• SMSF experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial advice aligned to client goals.
• Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with both investment advisers and their clients.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement and outcomes.
• Work closely with local and inter-state based advisers, paraplanners and client services team.
• Maintain the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
• Commit to continuous self-improvement by expanding your technical expertise and fostering strong professional relationships.
