Job summary
Koda Capital seeks an Investment Data Analyst to transform complex market data into decision-ready insights for portfolio construction and client outcomes. You will work closely with the Chief Economist, handling large datasets and building quantitative models within a high-performing team in Sydney.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in investment data analysis, advanced Bloomberg/Excel skills, and fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R/MATLAB/VBA) to support cross-asset research
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Two or more years' experience in investment data analyst, quantitative analysis, or a similar role within financial services.
- Advanced Bloomberg and Excel skills, including Bloomberg API and complex financial modelling.
- Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, or VBA for quantitative finance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret investment data across asset classes to support decisions.
- Collaborate with Chief Economist and Investment Team on portfolio analytics and market insights.
- Develop quantitative models and data-driven dashboards for investment outcomes.
