Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking energetic Swim School Instructors to join Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre. You will deliver swimming lessons to children across a range of ages and abilities, emphasizing water safety and clear communication.

This casual role offers flexible hours including mornings, evenings and weekend classes, with free facility access and a supportive, team-based environment. Applicants must hold Current First Aid (Level 2), CPR, Working With Children Check and a NSW

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR are required.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check are required.
• Current AUSTSWIM certificate – or equivalent – is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons to children across a range of ages and abilities with a focus on water safety.
• Communicate clearly, ensuring safety and progress for each class.
• Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision.
• Casual positions available; available to teach school groups during school hours.

This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy swimming, love working with children, who want to teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

The Role

Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

The Swim School Instructor delivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.

Multiple casual position available. You must be available to work during school hours to teach school groups.

Skills & Attributes:

• Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team

Qualifications
