Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's CentrePoint Sport & Leisure Centre in Blayney is seeking energetic Swim Teachers to deliver lessons to a wide range of ages and abilities.

You will be an effective communicator with strong attention to detail, good time management and the ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision.

Qualifications include First Aid (Level 2), CPR, WWVP National Police Check and a current Swim Teaching Certificate; mornings, evenings and weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• First Aid (Level 2) and CPR required.
• Working with Vulnerable People Check required.
• Current Swim Teaching Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming lessons to a wide range of ages and abilities.
• Communicate effectively with participants and parents, with attention to detail.

This is a great opportunityfor qualified teachers who enjoy swimming, love working with children, who want to teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

The Role

CentrePoint Sport & Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.The Swim Teacher delivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail. You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.

Skills & Attributes:

• Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
