Job summary

Carlile Swim is hiring Swim Teachers for our Wavell Heights location. We welcome experienced teachers and novices alike, offering training and qualification pathways.

You’ll deliver engaging swimming lessons to children, following our programs and policies to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes. The role suits those who enjoy working with children, are comfortable around water, and can commit to regular shifts.

Qualifications

• You don’t need an aquatic background to be great at this role. We’re looking for people who:
• Enjoy working with children
• Are comfortable and confident around water
• Communicate positively with children, families and teammates
• Are reliable and can commit to regular weekly shifts

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, structured swimming lessons to children of different ages and abilities
• Help children build confidence and develop essential swimming skills
• Follow the Carlile Swim program to deliver consistent, high-quality lessons
• Build positive relationships with swimmers and families

• Continue learning and developing your teaching skills

We’re looking for enthusiastic people to join Carlile Swim Wavell Heights as Swim Teachers.

Whether you’re an experienced Swim Teacher or completely new to the industry, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re new, we’ll support you through your training and qualification pathway. If you’re already qualified, you’ll receive ongoing coaching and development to continue building your skills.

Our swim schools operate across weekdays and weekends, with afternoon/evening and weekend availability highly desirable.

Already hold your Swim Teacher qualification, CPR and relevant state Working with Children Check? Great. If you don’t have them yet, that’s okay – we’ll guide you through what’s required to become qualified.
