Job summary

Carlile Swim Mt Ommaney is seeking enthusiastic Swim Teachers, experienced or new to the industry. We will support you through your training and qualification pathway, with ongoing coaching to grow your skills.

Teach children, follow the Carlile Swim program, and create a safe, encouraging learning environment. Flexible afternoon/evening and weekend shifts are highly desirable to fit study or other commitments.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with children and be confident around water.
• Commitment to regular weekly shifts and following a structured program.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate positively with families and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, structured swimming lessons to children of different ages and abilities.
• Help children build confidence and develop essential swimming skills.
• Follow the Carlile Swim program to deliver consistent, high-quality lessons.

What You'll Do:

About You:

You don't need an aquatic background to be great at this role. We're looking for people who:

✔️ Are comfortable and confident around water

✔️ Communicate positively with children, families and teammates

✔️ Are reliable and can commit to regular weekly shifts

✔️ Are open to feedback, learning and following a structured program

✔️ Put child safety first

Our swim schools operate across weekdays and weekends, with afternoon/evening and weekend availability highly desirable.

Already hold your Swim Teacher qualification, CPR and relevant state Working with Children Check? Great. If you don't have them yet, that's okay - we'll guide you through what's required to become qualified.
