Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a native Swedish tutor for a freelance, one-to-one teaching role in Canberra (2602). The assignment comprises General courses, total 22 hours, with two-hour sessions and a flexible schedule once per week across Tue/Wed/Thu slots.

Beginners aged 18–24 will start ASAP, with the aim of basic conversational skills for grad opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a native Swedish speaker or hold a teaching qualification, have prior language teaching or translation

Qualifications

• Be a native Swedish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 30 km of the specified location.
