Qualifications
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Surveying or equivalent.
- Experience using surveying instruments in field environments.
- Proficiency in GIS and CAD software (ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD or Civil 3D).
- Ability to interpret drawings, plans and Australian surveying regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist planning and organisation of surveying operations and fieldwork.
- Interpret plans and regulations to support project delivery.
- Collect spatial data using surveying instruments and GPS equipment.
- Prepare sketches, drawings and specifications for project phases.
- Maintain maps and spatial databases for geospatial records.
- Perform data reductions and preliminary plotting of survey data.
