  • Review survey information, calculations, field data and final deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to survey teams when required.
  • Assist with project planning, quotations, invoicing and reporting.
  • Identify potential issues early and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and rework.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Promote consistent survey practices, quality standards and efficient ways of working.
  • Provide mentoring and support to develop the technical capability and confidence of the survey team.
  • Support a positive safety culture and ensure work is carried out in accordance with project and company requirements.
  • Contribute to improving Noble Surveys’ systems, processes and overall project delivery.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced survey professional who is confident working at a senior level and can balance technical requirements, people leadership and project outcomes.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in surveying, with previous Survey Manager experience essential.
  • Strong experience in engineering, civil, construction or infrastructure surveying.
  • Demonstrated experience managing survey teams and coordinating multiple projects.
  • The ability to effectively plan resources and prioritise competing project requirements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of field surveying, data processing and quality control.
  • A practical understanding of project costs, productivity and commercial performance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with clients and project teams.
  • A genuine interest in mentoring and developing less experienced surveyors.
  • Experience with Trimble GNSS, total stations and associated surveying equipment.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC), Civil 3D or similar software would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to UAV/drone surveying, machine control or laser scanning would be highly regarded.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
